School canteen, Ndem 2007 – 2009

2007 – 2009 primary school, Ndem  Our financial contribution to a school canteen provides the children with a regular diet which is an important incentive for school attendance. During the 2008/2009 school year, the school canteen fed up to 550 students coming from 12 surrounding villages. Sewing course for women

2011 – present Grand Dakar With Them contributed 5,000 € to setting up sewing courses for 20 local women. Providing them with a skills set is essential for gaining access to employment opportunities and earning an income.  Classes are usually from 3pm to 7pm, but also depend on the availability of trainers and students. Classical music concert

21 October, 2006 Domaine de la Hêtraie, Lasne The profits raised from this concert, presented by Irina Chkourindina, allowed us to finance the costs of border clearance as well as the transport of furniture to the primary school in the village of Ndem in Senegal.
